  • - 1 cup granulated sugar
  • - ½ cup + 1 tbsp water
  • - 6 tbsp white vinegar
  • - 4½ tsp red wine vinegar
  • - 1 tsp finely grated onion
  • - 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • - ¼ tsp sesame oil
  • - 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • - 1 tbsp dried minced onion
  • - 2 tsp dry mustard powder
  • - 1 tsp salt
  • - ¾ tsp poppy seeds
  • - ½ tsp celery seed
  • - ¼ tsp onion powder
  • - ¼ tsp paprika
  • - ¼ tsp black pepper
  • - ⅛ tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients and whisk until well blended.
  • Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking frequently.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
