Ingredients
  

  • - 6 cups berries 32 oz
  • - 1 lb thick bread cubed
  • - 1 1/3 cups applesauce or mashed banana
  • - 2/3 cup milk of choice
  • - 2/3 cup egg whites or additional milk
  • - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or agave or honey
  • - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • Cube bread and wash berries.
  • Whisk applesauce/banana, milk, egg whites, syrup/honey, and vanilla.
  • Layer bread and berries in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour wet mixture evenly over.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes.
  • Let cool and enjoy!

- Use day-old bread for best texture.
- Customize with nuts, seeds, or different fruits.
