14 oz smoked sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken), sliced
-
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
-
1 packet ranch seasoning (or homemade mix)
-
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby Jack, or mozzarella)
-
½ cup sour cream (optional, for creaminess)
-
¼ cup chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Wash and cube potatoes; parboil 5 minutes if desired.

Toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, and half the cheese.
-
Spread on a greased sheet pan; bake 25 minutes, stirring halfway.

Add sliced smoked sausage; bake 15–20 minutes until potatoes are golden.
-
Sprinkle remaining cheese; bake 5–7 minutes until melted and bubbly.
-
Garnish with green onions or parsley; serve warm.
Notes
-
For crispier potatoes, avoid overcrowding the pan.
-
Turkey sausage makes it lighter; pork adds rich flavor.
-
Add veggies (bell peppers, broccoli) for extra nutrition.
-
Great for meal prep—reheat in oven for best results.
