Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs potatoes (Yukon Gold or red, cubed)

  • 14 oz smoked sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken), sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (or homemade mix)

  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby Jack, or mozzarella)

  • ½ cup sour cream (optional, for creaminess)

  • ¼ cup chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Wash and cube potatoes; parboil 5 minutes if desired.

  • Toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, and half the cheese.

  • Spread on a greased sheet pan; bake 25 minutes, stirring halfway.

  • Add sliced smoked sausage; bake 15–20 minutes until potatoes are golden.

  • Sprinkle remaining cheese; bake 5–7 minutes until melted and bubbly.

 

  • Garnish with green onions or parsley; serve warm.

Notes

  • For crispier potatoes, avoid overcrowding the pan.

  • Turkey sausage makes it lighter; pork adds rich flavor.
