Description

Flavor-packed Thai-inspired beef rolls wrapped in tortillas or rice paper, filled with fresh herbs, spicy-sweet beef, and crunchy veggies.

 


Ingredients

  • lbs ground beef (or chicken/pork/tofu)

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger

  • 12 tsp Chinese Five Spice

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce or tamari

  • ¼ cup Thai chili sauce (or homemade)

  • 4 Persian cucumbers, sliced

  • ½ cup Thai basil, chopped

  • 2 cups cilantro, chopped

  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped

  • ⅓ cup roasted peanuts, chopped

  • 8 flour tortillas or rice paper wraps


Instructions

  • In a skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds in oil.

  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.

  • Stir in Chinese Five Spice, soy sauce, and chili sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Warm tortillas or prep rice paper wraps.

  • Layer beef, cucumbers, herbs, and peanuts in each wrap.

 

  • Roll tightly. Serve with extra sauce or dipping oil.

Notes

  • Use rice paper for a gluten-free option.

  • Substitute tofu or tempeh for a vegetarian version.

  • Cashews or sunflower seeds can replace peanuts for allergy-friendly versions.

  • Add lettuce or carrots for extra crunch.

  • Serve with jasmine or coconut rice for a full meal.
