Description

Fudgy chocolate brownies topped with a spooky spiderweb made from white chocolate — perfect for Halloween parties and themed treats.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownies:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 ¼ cups granulated sugar

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 ¼ cups unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

For the Spiderweb Topping:

  • ½ cup white chocolate chips OR cream cheese frosting

  • 12 tsp milk (to thin if needed)

  • Optional: gel food coloring (orange, green, purple)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly.

  • Mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.

  • Stir in cocoa powder, salt, baking powder. Fold in flour and chocolate chips.

  • Pour batter into pan. Bake for 28–32 minutes until set but fudgy.

  • Let cool completely (at least 1 hour).

  • Melt white chocolate. Pipe a spiral on top.

  • Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center outward to form a spiderweb.

  • Let topping set. Slice and serve!

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring for bold spiderweb effects.

  • For a creamier drizzle, thin white chocolate with a few drops of coconut oil.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.

  • Add candy spiders or Halloween sprinkles for extra flair!
