Description

A cozy, spiced espresso drink with real pumpkin purée, creamy milk, and warm fall spices. This homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte is easy, delicious, and ready in minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or soy)

  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée

  • 12 tablespoons sugar (or maple syrup, honey, or sweetener of choice)

  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove)

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 shot espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)

  • Whipped cream (optional)

  • Extra cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin purée, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla.

  • Heat gently over medium heat, stirring often — do not boil.

  • Froth the mixture with a whisk or milk frother for added foam (optional).

  • Pour espresso into your mug.

  • Add the pumpkin milk mixture over the espresso.

  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  • Serve hot and enjoy your cozy fall drink!

Notes

  • Make it vegan by using plant-based milk and coconut whipped cream.

  • Use less sugar or a sugar substitute to make it lighter.

  • This recipe works well iced: just chill the milk mixture and pour over ice.
