Ingredients

1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based like oat, almond, or soy)

½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 shot espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin purée, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla.

Heat gently over medium heat, stirring often — do not boil.

Froth the mixture with a whisk or milk frother for added foam (optional).
