Description
A light, refreshing, and naturally dairy-free frozen dessert made with ripe peaches, perfect for summer. This *peach sorbet* is smooth, sweet, and easy to make without an ice cream maker.
Ingredients
– 3 cups *fresh or frozen peaches* (peeled and sliced)
– 1–2 tablespoons *sugar* or *honey*
– 1 tablespoon *lemon juice*
– Optional: 1 tablespoon *vodka or white rum* (for better texture)
– Optional: 3–4 *mint* or *basil leaves* (for infusion)
Instructions
1. Add peaches, sugar, and lemon juice to a blender or food processor.
2. Blend until smooth. Add vodka and herbs if desired.
3. Pour mixture into a loaf pan and smooth the top.
4. Freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
5. Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
– Use *very ripe peaches* for best flavor.
– Frozen peaches work well—thaw slightly before blending.
– Alcohol helps prevent icy texture, but it’s optional.
– For variations, try adding mango, raspberry, or fresh ginger.
