Description

A rich, creamy, and garlicky pasta dish made in just one pot. Quick to make, easy to clean, and full of cheesy comfort, it’s perfect for busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta (or spaghetti)

  • 3 tablespoons butter, divided

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

  • 1 cup milk or half & half

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

  • (Optional): ¼ tsp each oregano, thyme, onion powder


Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  • Pour in broth and milk, stir, and bring to a gentle boil.

  • Add pasta and simmer uncovered for 4–5 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.

  • Reduce heat to low. Add remaining 1 tbsp butter.

  • Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

  • Let sit for 1–2 minutes to thicken.

 

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.

  • Don’t overcook the pasta—angel hair cooks fast!

  • Turn off the heat before adding cheese to prevent graininess.

  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
