Ingredients

4–6 russet potatoes, peeled and cut into thick fries

2 tbsp olive oil

1–1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning

¼ cup ranch dressing (plus extra for dipping)

Cheese Sauce

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

⅔ cup milk

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Steam the potatoes over boiling water for 10–12 minutes until outer edges are tender.

Toss with olive oil and bake at 450°F (230°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

Make cheese sauce: Melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk and cheddar, stir until smooth.

Assemble fries: Top baked fries with Cajun seasoning, drizzle ranch, and cheese sauce.

Serve hot with extra sauces on the side.
