Ingredients

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast

1 cup warm water

1 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2–3 fresh jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
Instructions

Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar; let activate.

Add flour, salt, and oil; knead into a soft dough.

Fold in cheddar and jalapeños (coat in flour for even distribution).

Let dough rise until doubled in size (1–1.5 hours).

Shape into a loaf, place in pan, and let rise again.

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes until golden.

Cool before slicing.
