Description

This Hot Honey Feta Chicken is crispy, juicy, and topped with creamy feta and a sweet-spicy hot honey drizzle. It’s a quick and flavorful dinner that blends Southern heat with Mediterranean richness.

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes or panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ½ cup feta cheese (crumbled or sliced)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

For the Hot Honey:

  • ½ cup honey

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  • Coat in olive oil and breadcrumbs/cornflakes.

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes (or air fry for 12–15 minutes).

  • Top with feta, then return to cook for 3–5 minutes.

 

  • Drizzle with hot honey just before serving.

Notes

  • For crispier results, bake on a wire rack.

  • Use block feta in brine for best melt and flavor.

  • Adjust red pepper flakes to control spice level.

  • Pairs great with roasted veggies or a couscous salad.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
