Description

Soft, sweet King’s Hawaiian rolls filled with creamy cheesecake-style filling, brushed with a warm cinnamon butter glaze, and baked to golden perfection. Ideal for brunch, dessert, or holidays.

  • For the Rolls:
  • 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (12-count)
  • 6 tbsp salted butter (melted)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • For the Cream Cheese Filling:
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Without separating the rolls, carve out a small cavity in the top of each.
  3. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Brush over and inside the rolls.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and egg; blend well.
  5. Fill each roll with the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Bake for 15–17 minutes until golden and the filling is set.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, vanilla glaze, chopped nuts.

  • Use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.

  • Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
