  • ½ cup bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • For the Garlic Bread Base:
  • 1 loaf French bread (or Texas toast)
  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Sloppy Joe Filling: In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

  4. Make the Sauce: Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.

  6. Assemble: Spread Sloppy Joe mixture over the bread. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot!

Notes
