Description

A crispy, golden-brown chicken breast coated in Parmesan and served with a rich, creamy garlic sauce. A one-pan meal that’s simple, flavorful, and comforting.


Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally)

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 head of garlic (cloves peeled and smashed)

  • ¼ cup dry white wine (optional)

  • 1 ¼ cups chicken broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken: Slice chicken into cutlets and pat dry.

  2. Dredge: Coat chicken in flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Sear: Cook chicken in hot oil and butter until golden and cooked through. Remove.

  4. Make sauce: Sauté garlic until fragrant. Deglaze with wine. Add broth and cream; simmer.

  5. Finish: Stir in Parmesan until melted. Return chicken to pan and simmer for 3–4 minutes.

  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

  • Swap heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.

  • For a gluten-free version, use almond or gluten-free flour.
