Ingredients

6–8 oz mushrooms (button or cremini), whole and cleaned

⅓ cup almond flour

⅓ cup raw sunflower seeds, ground

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp sea salt

½ tsp paprika

¼ tsp dried parsley

1 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)

1 extra-large egg, beaten
-
½ tbsp melted butter (optional)

1 tbsp avocado or olive oil (for pan)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease baking sheet with oil.

Pat mushrooms dry completely.

Blend sunflower seeds into a coarse meal.

Mix almond flour, ground seeds, spices, and optional cheese in a zip-top bag.

Beat egg and butter in a bowl.

Dip mushrooms in egg, coat in dry mix by shaking in bag.

Place mushrooms on baking sheet.

Bake for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway.

Broil 1–2 minutes to crisp the coating.

Serve warm with your favorite dip!
