Ingredients

For Shrimp & Sauce:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 tbsp butter or olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

½ tsp Italian seasoning

Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: splash of white wine, chili flakes
For Mashed Potatoes:

2 lbs Yukon gold or russet potatoes, peeled & chopped

4 tbsp butter

½ cup milk or cream
-
Salt to taste

Optional: sour cream or cream cheese

Instructions

Cook potatoes: Boil until tender, drain, then mash with butter, milk, and seasonings.

Cook shrimp: Sear in butter/oil until pink, 1–2 min per side. Remove.

Make sauce: In same pan, sauté garlic, add cream, parmesan, and seasonings. Simmer until thickened.

Assemble: Spoon mashed potatoes on plates, top with shrimp, drizzle sauce, garnish with parsley/lemon zest.
Notes

Don’t overcook shrimp—remove as soon as they turn opaque.

Warm milk/cream before adding to potatoes for smoother mash.
