A creamy, protein-packed pasta sauce made with blended cottage cheese. This healthy alternative to traditional cream sauces is quick, versatile, and perfect for any pasta dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat preferred for creaminess)
  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh basil (spinach, chili flakes, or nutritional yeast)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth.
  3. Transfer to a saucepan and warm over low heat—do not boil.
  4. Toss with cooked pasta and garnish with fresh herbs or cheese if desired.

Notes

  • For a thinner sauce, add 1–2 tbsp of pasta water after blending.

  • Use small curd cottage cheese for a smoother blend.
