Description

Crispy, sweet banana chips made in the air fryer with a cinnamon-sugar twist. A quick, healthy snack with no preservatives or deep frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 firm, ripe bananas (sliced into ⅛-inch rounds)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (or melted butter)

  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Slice bananas thinly and evenly.

  • Toss slices with coconut oil to coat lightly.

  • Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture and mix gently.

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Arrange banana slices in a single layer (avoid overlap).

  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Cool on a wire rack to crisp up fully before storing or serving.

Notes

  • Use slightly underripe bananas for best results.

  • Chips will crisp more as they cool.

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • Reheat in air fryer for 2–3 minutes to restore crunch.
