Description

A warm, fluffy, and cheesy artisan-style loaf made with the no-knead method for easy home baking.


Ingredients

  • – 3 cups bread flour (or all-purpose)
  • – 2 tsp instant yeast
  • – 1 ½ tsp salt
  • – 1 ½ cups warm water
  • – 2 ½ cups freshly shredded Colby (or cheese of choice)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, salt, and water until shaggy dough forms.
  2. Cover and let rise 1–3 hours until doubled.
  3. Fold in cheese, shape into a disc, and layer cheese inside.
  4. Preheat oven and pot to 240°C/450°F.
  5. Transfer dough to parchment, place in pot.
  6. Bake covered 35 min, then uncovered 10 min.
  7. Cool 10 min before slicing.

Notes

 – Shred your own cheese for best melt.
