A warm, fluffy, and cheesy artisan-style loaf made with the no-knead method for easy home baking.
Ingredients
- – 3 cups bread flour (or all-purpose)
- – 2 tsp instant yeast
- – 1 ½ tsp salt
- – 1 ½ cups warm water
- – 2 ½ cups freshly shredded Colby (or cheese of choice)
Instructions
- Mix flour, yeast, salt, and water until shaggy dough forms.
- Cover and let rise 1–3 hours until doubled.
- Fold in cheese, shape into a disc, and layer cheese inside.
- Preheat oven and pot to 240°C/450°F.
- Transfer dough to parchment, place in pot.
- Bake covered 35 min, then uncovered 10 min.
- Cool 10 min before slicing.
Notes
– Shred your own cheese for best melt.
– Cover with foil if the top browns too quickly.
– Add herbs or spices for variation.
