No-bake buckeye bars are a simplified version of Ohio’s iconic buckeye candy, made with a creamy peanut butter base and topped with a rich chocolate layer. Perfect for holidays, potlucks, and everyday cravings.
Ingredients

2½ cups confectioners’ sugar

2 cups creamy peanut butter

½ cup melted butter or margarine

½ cup brown sugar (optional, for extra richness)

½ tsp vanilla extract

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Grease or line a 10×15-inch pan.

In a large bowl, combine melted butter, peanut butter, confectioners’ sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Press the mixture evenly into the pan.

Melt chocolate chips using a double boiler or microwave.

Pour and spread melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.

Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes until set.

Slice into squares and serve.
