Description

A refreshing, protein-packed salad combining tuna, crisp apples, celery, and a light dressing. Perfect for lunch, meal prep, or a light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 5 oz can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 medium apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, diced)
  • 1 stalk celery (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped walnuts (cranberries, or red onion)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine tuna, diced apple, celery, and any optional add-ins.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix yogurt (or mayo), mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour dressing over salad and stir gently to combine.
  4. Chill for 15–30 minutes if desired. Serve in wraps, lettuce cups, or with crackers.

Notes

  • Use lemon juice to prevent apples from browning.

  • For meal prep, keep apples separate until serving.

  • Customize with avocado, herbs, or different nuts for variety.
